My family made a trip to Langkawi in November. Coming from Singapore, we deeply appreciate the pace of life there. Langkawi is made up of 99 islands. One must go island hopping to experience the archipelago.

View from top of Gunung Machinchang (Mount Mat Cincang). The cable car ride up the mountain is exciting especially when it starts to climb at an angle of 42 degrees!

It was jelly fish season when we were there. No swimming for us at the Langkawi Lagoon Resort. However, you can still swim near Pantai Cenang.

The Brahminy Kite eagles are beautiful...

The White-bellied Fish Eagle is big...

Look at the wing span!

This is King Kong Hill...

This outcrop looks like a head...

This is Shoe Island...

Late lunch at a fish farm (included in day tour)...

This is how close you can get to the marine life at Pulau Payar...

You can really swim with baby sharks!

The steel bridge at the top of Mount Mat Cincang. I took a few photographs at this location and this one accidentally captured an oval object flying across the bridge! The object must be travelling quite fast as it was out of focus.

UFO in Langkawi or time to change my camera?
